This bedroom has been a long time coming… and I am so glad it is finally finished!!! I really underestimated the amount of work that needed to go into the room and how hard it was to find all of the perfect pieces for Blairs big girl room! I think I returned maybe five rugs trying to find the right shade of pink!!!
I really wanted her room to be somewhere that she would really enjoy, a place she wanted to spend time, we also really wanted the look of the room to be easily tweaked and transitioned as she grew and her interests/style evolved.
I stuck with a color palette of soft greys, soft pinks, blues & some white to keep the room feeling quite fresh and on trend. We have quite a bit of timber as the feature in our home so we again carried this trend into her room with accents of timber (in her dresser, picture frames, and bed frame etc.)
We were very generously gifted the beautiful house bed for Blairs room from Hide Seek Kids which was the starting point/feature that everything else was created around! I worked very closely with Blond Noir to create the custom decals for Blairs room that was based around a beautiful piece of artwork we were gifted from Faenerys was quite set on keeping her room to a reasonable budget and tried to where I could, source things at a cheaper price and made sure I looked around to be sure I was getting the best price for my items.
It has been quite therapeutic to finish this room off, Blair LOVES her new bedroom and we are so happy with the overall feel of the room xo
